“I have been very impressed with the work done by Westquay in completing our build. Michael Planel was in regular communication with me in respect to the build and was easily contacted if I had any queries or concerns. The build was conducted in an efficient and organised manner and kept to within the budget allocated. It was also a pleasure to meet with Michael personally in the finishing stages of the project. The work done by Westquay was of very high quality and it is a pleasure to live in our new residence. Michael has given an assurance that he can be contacted if there are any outstanding issues with the build and, given the nature of our previous contact, I have no concerns in that regard. It would be a pleasure to recommend Westquay to any further prospective clients.”
172 Gwenyfred
In the leafy green suburb of Kensington, our design proposal uses a playful roof form as a contemporary response to its eclectic suburban context. Comprised of 8 three Storey townhouses, the project has paid homage to the recently promoted medium density design codes with extensive landscaping, planting, and opportunities for cross ventilation.
Light filled and texturally warm, the 172 Gwenyfred is calm and considered. The lightweight cladding and large areas of glazing on the upper levels have been grounded by darker, solid masonry construction. These townhouses are both a reflection of the local neighborhood and a unique, contemporary architectural response.
